Benny & steph, what can i say? These two are the best of friends and the true meaning of soul mates. These two legends met at work many years ago. They are quite the travellers and even lived abroad in the UK for the past two years.

The story of Ben’s proposal is quiet funny. He had carefully planned out this surprise proposal set on the chair with his grandmother’s name on it at their favourite beach in the northern suburbs of Sydney. He had planned for their immediate family members to be watching on and to come out once the the surprise was up. Now getting Steph to the location proved more difficult than Benny anticipated. The morning of the proposal it bucketed down and going for a walk to the beach was the last thing Steph wanted to do. a few hours later a stressed out and slightly nervous Ben decided the rain wasn’t going to ruin his plan so he grabbed Steph and a couple of umbrellas and set out to their special spot.

Fast forward a couple years later to Spring 2018, these two cool cats amongst all of their loved ones, tied the knot at Wildwood nestled in the heart of Kangaroo Valley. Their bride tribe was made up of their both Ben & Steph’s siblings and childhood friends who made sure they day one banging party, a beautiful mix of sentiment and celebration.

One moment that stuck has with me was right before the ceremony, when Steph’s dad Brian seen her for the first time as a bride. His face changed, his eyes welled up and he gave her the most adoring look that only a proud parent could. To see his little Steph all grown up and to be the last time walking one of his daughters down the isle was an emotional time but truly beautiful to watch.
