Nothing more special than photographing friends weddings. Wilson & I were invited along to our good friend Loz & Dean’s special day at the beautiful Ruby’s at Mt Kembla. The day was overcast, warm and so much fun.
Surrounded by their family, friends and plenty of good vibes these two tied the knot.
Traditions new and old. Loz had the honour of wearing her family’s wedding dress heirloom for her big day. In the words of Loz herself “The most cherished thing about our wedding was the fact I got to wear the same dress my mother and grandmother wore on their wedding days. Grandma wore it in 1952, Mum in 1984 and me in 2019. What’s even crazier is that there were no alterations needed except for the length at the front. It was meant to be.”
Along with Lauren’s dress was her Nan’s Holden Kingswood that was passed down to her. Sporting her mum’s wedding flowers on the front and veil in the back window, it was such a special way to make an entrance they certainly wouldn’t forget.
Thank you so much Loz & Dean for having us document those special and unforgettable moments for your families to look back on. It was such a gorgeous day!
