THISTLETHWAITE FAMILY SESSION

I met this beautiful mama at her Bestie’s wedding as a bridesmaid in October last year. A few months down the track she got in touch to update her Tribe’s photos, now the boys had grown.

We had planned for the end of January although mother nature had other plans. First up we were hit with the dust and smoke lingering after the devastating bushfires on our South Coast, NSW (not ideal for your health or the white outfits planned) so we postponed. We had planned for each Thursday after that for a solid 4 weeks and on the 4th rescheduled attempt we finally got a cracking sunset and some decent weather summer.

We spent the afternoon roaming around this hidden paradise, adventuring through as 5 year old Oliver likes to call “the bat cave” (rock cliff faces) and skipping stones (one of his favourite things to do). I am so fascinated at how wild kid’s imaginations really can be. I was full of questions which were met with answers like “that’s where the swamp monster lives”.

Safe to say I had quite a ball hanging out, going exploring and photographing this sweet family of 4.
