Their first wedding photos weren’t taken professionally, so this time we made magic, creating the kind of timeless, boho-inspired images they’ll proudly display forever.

Meet Britt & Gordo! These two lovebirds met 7 years ago at a karaoke dinner and their story has been full of laughter, banter, and adventures ever since. Choosing an intimate, untraditional elopement, they travelled up to Raglan on the West Coast of New Zealand’s North Island, inviting just four of their closest friends to celebrate their marriage.
From chill morning preparations and heartfelt Pounamu gift exchanges, to a moody, dramatic ceremony and romantic couple portraits on Ngarunui Beach, their day was full of love, laughter, and fun. Afterward, they shared drinks, dinner, and stories with their friends, enjoying every moment exactly how they wanted.

Travelling down from Auckland, these two lovers made their way to meet me at my favourite beach in Raglan on the West Coast of our Waikato region. Celebrating recently engaged and planning their wedding, they wanted to get some practice in before their special day. We had the best time, enjoying the summer sun and watching the sun set.

One of my favourite spots for family photography in the Waikato is Ngarunui Beach in Raglan. I first met the Kara Whānau here when I relocated to Hamilton, and it’s been so rewarding to watch families return year after year, trusting me to capture timeless memories as their kids grow.
Even with busy family and work lives, we made time for a sunset session, ending the evening splashing in the waves, so bring a towel and your sense of fun! No matter the season, Raglan’s beaches create magical light and the perfect spot for the kids to explore.

Capturing these fleeting moments for our incredible Kiwi mamas is something I cherish deeply. The golden light, coastal breeze, and breathtaking West Coast backdrop made this session truly magical.
