What started as a relaxed couples shoot at Rotorua’s stunning Blue Lake quickly turned into one of the most beautiful moments I’ve had the honour of photographing. These two had no idea that halfway through our wander along the lakeshore, one of them would drop to one knee, heart racing, eyes full of love and pop the question that would begin their next chapter together.
The quiet serenity of the lake and the golden light filtering through the trees created the perfect, intimate backdrop. It was raw, emotional, and so them. No big crowd, no grand stage - just two souls promising forever in a place that felt like their own private spot.

You’ll usually find me in activewear and Birks, ready to jump into a lake, climb a lookout, or wander off the beaten track for that perfect golden-hour light.
I’m a Pepsi-fuelled, thrill-seeking sunset chaser who’s ticked off 23 countries (and counting!), skydived despite my fear of heights, and never says no to an epic adventure. When I’m not out exploring, I’m hanging with my Cavoodle sidekicks Ziggy & Simba, hunting treasures at op shops, or planning the next trip with my bestie Wilson.
